“Hah! You wish. It’s gonna be a roast for you if you don’t stop.”
Loud groans were heard from Nes and Rocky’s companions, seated not too far from them. A bonfire on the island’s beach was a wonderful way to spend a warm summer evening, but their teammates had not signed up for their incessant back-and-forth of puns.
“You’re just jealous of how scorching my puns are,” said Rocky proudly, puffing out his chest slightly. Nes gave his abdomen a playful shove, pushing him down onto the wrinkled towel they’d spread out.
“I was never jealous, babe,” Nes said then, flipping her hair over her shoulder. “Why would I be, when your jokes are lukewarm at best?”
Normally such a remark might’ve stung a little bit, but this was Nes. Rocky knew that whenever she pushed his buttons, she was just playing, teasing. She was good at that. He laughed and picked up one of the sticks that hadn’t caught fire yet, and pointed it at her accusingly.
“Careful what you say, or this is gonna get a little heated,” he warned, smirking.
“Ooh, mercy,” Nes swooned sarcastically. “Whatever shall I do? You can’t hold a candle to me.”
“I swear to Arceus, if both of you don’t shut up right now—”
Sambas, visiting from Sinnoh, held his hands over his ears, clenching his jaw. Amica sat near him, holding in a snicker.
“Or what, Sambas?” Nes inquired, raising an eyebrow. She settled into a spot next to Rocky, smoothing out the sarong over her bikini bottoms. “Don’t burn yourself up there.”
“Yeah,” added Rocky, slinging an arm around Nes’ shoulders as she sat down. “Simmer down, buddy.”
The roserade groaned and put his hands over his face.

Verdi eventually convinced the young and promising fighter to leave the life of boring peace and quiet, and pursue a more exciting, challenging path with their old teammates. since the day they found the larvesta on the southern rocks, Verdi knew there was a spark inside him that would lead to not disaster (as the young man had feared), but greatness.
after a month’s worth of strenuous training, a bit of soul-searching, and meeting with a mysterious woman at the bottom of the desert ruins, Judas became that which he’d feared most: a mighty and fearsome volcarona. but what fear he had was no longer there, and with the blessing from the sly serperior, the fiery youth was passed the team’s torch of leadership.
so this is what I was up to for the last hour.
since Team Rocket usually wears black, I was wondering what these two would look like with a more “proper” Rocket attire. turns out they look fuckin’ awesome. maybe these are their more formal uniforms or something, and their other outfits are more casual? whatever the case may be, I had fun with this. ♥
ah, dear Nikolai.
this aspiring young inventor was one of Plasma’s former teammates 30 years ago. he wasn’t very strong physically, but few could be hit by this Thunder and remain standing. somewhat naive and with habits true to his quirky nature, Nikolai was rather innocent compared to his teammates. his affection for his teammates was genuine, and it was hard to remain depressed when he was around. Plasma had a slight crush at one point, but never felt it appropriate to tell him. she loved him more as family than anything else, and still misses her dear friend very much.I hate it when I give good designs to dead characters. ;_; I’m tempted to have Emmett and Valerie pull some time bullshit and bring him back to the future. so conflicted. sjadfklgf
he might be a doctor and an engineer, but Membrane can’t bake for shit. he’ll learn, but those first few tries… probably weren’t pretty.
EDIT: why do I always forget Membrane’s loose hairs? argh. every single time.
a different scene, something from a bit of writing I probably won’t finish. Roger got caught in the rain while heading over to where Plasma lives, and got soaked through. after getting some new threads that weren’t icy cold, they got cozy on the couch to help him warm up. d’aww. she also made him hot cocoa but I forgot to add the coffee table with their drinks on it, oops.

I won’t stop drawing these guys either. say what you will about this picture, but I love it. it was kind of a pain to draw, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. the anatomy’s not perfect but whatever. I got the mood I was looking for, so that’s good enough for me.

Oh god, I’ve been looking for this for so long. I thought I accidentally deleted it alsdjfl. BUT IT HAS BEEN FOUND. Here’s a little story. Since they frequently travel, the SUPER BROS needed to find a place to rest from their travels, so they chose Olivine City, which is close to Skywalker’s home, close to Jill’s farm so Euler can visit her, has a nice beach, and also has a nice forest!
However, that doesn’t stop Francis and Rocky from frequently daring each other to do the most
foolishwicked tricks. One of these dares was to ride a bike around town while blindfolded. Unfortunately for Rocky, he rode too close to the pier.
